The following comprehensive plans are long-range planning tools intended to be used by citizens, community leadership and staff, and other decision makers to guide the growth and physical development of the community for 10 to 20 years. There are two interrelated purposes of a comprehensive plan: first, it allows the citizens of a community to create a shared vision of what they want the community to become, and second, it establishes ways in which a community can effectively realize this vision.
